To get SDM work, my action plan will be the following:
- Check requirements.
- Download latest SDM.
- Delete old / unnecessary SDM files from flash.
- Upload new ones via TFTP.
- Configure router for SDM.
1) Requirements
Cisco Routers and Cisco IOS Versions Supported & Memory Requirements & PC System Requirements & Web Browser Versions and Java Runtime Environment Versions
2) Download software
The link from where you can download the latest SDM software, SDM-V234.zip:

3) Managing your flash
After download, just delete the following files from the flash of the router:
sdmconfig-180x.cfg
sdm.tar
es.tar
common.tar
home.shtml
home.tar
128MB.sdf
wlanui.tar
For example:
Router# delete flash:sdmconfig-180x.cfg |

4) Copy files to flash
After deleting, unzip SDM-V234.zip and copy the new required files to the flash from the TFTP server:
sdmconfig-180x.cfg
sdm.tar
common.tar
home.shtml
home.tar
128MB.sdf
For example:
Router(config)#copy tftp flash: |
